If you are atuned to such things, you can feel the power of the Samhain-tide beginning. Generally, it lasts from nowish to the end of the first week of November.
This year things should be interesting. Both the late Timothy McKenna's Timewave Zero graph and the famed web bot project's ALTA reports point to the region of early November as the beginning of our descent into extreme novelty and the rise of tensions, respectively. Both (and other noted prophecies, modern and ancient) note that major global events will begin to destabilize the world as we know it. These are risky predictions to make, as, in a couple of weeks we'll all know whether or not such things: possible war, economic collapse, earthquakes, alien contact, whatever, come to pass...
I guess we'll see...
