Fun On the Sun?

Last week, lots of interesting things were happening on the Sun.  We had two X-flares and a strong M.  Oh, and a giant spherical orb seemingly tethered to the Sun, sucking up plasma:



for more detail google it to see the film of the sphere leaving just before a CME comes off.

And then, the next day, we got...oh, a giant fucking triangle on the Sun:



And that's all well and good and all, but then there is this spooky little artifact, which may or may not be Mayan, but it sure as hell existed before last week:
