By now, everyone has heard of Wikileaks. Bascially, a website that does what newspapers used to do. Print information by whistleblowers. You know, the information that giant corporations, banks, and governments keep secret. The site was founded by Julian Assange who has been arrested today under trumped up charges.
I agree with Julian that secrecy creates too big a cloak to hide abuses of power and tyranny. It is said that Julian has a massive "insurance file" that will shake up the entire world, that he will drop should be arrested. Which he was. I say let em fly, Julian.
I say Free Julian Assange now. He's a fucking hero.
