Is there a Correlation Between the Solar Storms, the Plasma Cloud, the Failing Magnetosphere, and the Mass Animal Deaths?

According to the scientists we are currently in solar cycle 24, approaching a solar maximum in late 2012.  The solar system has entered a plasma cloud in general, and is just beginning to enter a think column of ionized plasma, or noctilucent clouds.  Our magnetosphere seems to approaching some sort of minimum, with all sorts of wild fluctutations, including the occassion hole, with scientists saying that we could well be in for a magnetic pole reversal soon.  Could this explain all the animal (and little reported) plant mass die-offs?  Will we be next?  Bares looking into, I'd say.
